Executed by the sculptor and assistants on campus between May 31 and June 4, 1978 on the occasion of the 10th International Sculpture Conference held at York University.
Donated by the sculptor in 1979.  Removed to the present site and completed to the artist's specifications by the Faculty of Fine Arts, York University.
