The ROM's monumental pair reportedly stood before the residental compound of a Manchu prince in Beijing.
The Museum has commissioned stylish new coats to protect the lions from moisture during the harsh winter months.
Protection of The Guardian Lions in Winter is made possible through the collaboration of Holt Renfrew in partnership with Canadian designer Dominic Bellissimo.
