Inscription: ... This artwork uses indigenous plants, a bronze campfire and the rough hewn texture of a log building on the banking machine facade to recall the past and to frame the present.  It evokes a period of time from prehistory to today.
This installation, intimate and human in scale, draws upon the subject of nature, the presence of the original inhabitants, The log structures of the first European settlers, and the prevalence of commerce in the contemporary urban landscape.
Location: SE corner of Sheppard Avenue and Yonge Street
