"Time Capsule for 2084"
by
Kosso Eloul
.
....
One of the many sculptures displayed in Toronto by the artist.  Kosso Eloul was born on January 22, 1920 in Mourom, U.S.S.R., and lived, learned and worked in Israel, Chicago and moved in 1964 to Toronto.  His sculptures are large and seem to be precariously balanced.  In his earlier creative years granite seemed to be his preferred choice of materials while later he moved to steel and stainless steel structures.  His numerous works of art are widely displayed in Israel, all over the United States and mostly in Canada.  The artist was involved in international symposiums and is widely known.  He died on November 8, 1995 in Toronto, Ont.
