To our glorious dead.
Dedicated by the citizens of Toronto by the undying memory of those who fell in the Great War.
This stone was laid on July 24th, 1925, 
Fieldmarshall Earl Haig, Commander in Chief of the British forces in the Great War, 1914-1918.
