The most famous of all Canadian ships: "The Bluenose 2"

The story of the seagull landing on the periscope  raised some laughter.
After landing the first time and obscuring the view the captain lowered the periscope
but raising it again produced the perfect perch for the bird.  This repeated itself several times
until the captain gave up and raised the auxiliary periscope as well
and only then was he able to scan the horizon.

It must have been an evening for all small maritime things.
Here is a dinghy which looked beautiful....

...and two Norwegian prams.

"The HMCS Nancy" as a show piece in progress.

A German 'Schnellboot' will eventually be a scale model
equipped with three motors and screws.

"The Hamburg", a fishing trawler with sea horses decorating the base - nice touch.

The crane as part of the "William McKenzie".  It turns, it can be raised
and can be lowered.  Very nice action.

"The HMCS Ontario" a beautiful work in progress.

"The Queen Mary 2" a card stock model finished after 26 and a half months.
Detailed pictures of the construction process can be viewed at
