The International IOM Regatta

On the last day of the regatta the wind was non existent to light...
...yet the attendance was good and so was the mood.

After lunch a short trial period and then the boats were off to a good start.

The races were good and sometimes very competitive...

...and the boats on the water looked graceful.

It kept the spectators busy and the score keeper just looked up once for the camera.

Meanwhile the destruction of the power plant opposite the bay seems to disappear very slowly. After all it is now a big pile of ugly rubble to be replaced soon with a gas fired generating plant.

First: Peter van Rossem (sail 11) Score 57 points
Second: Hugh Kidd (sail 117) Score 63 points
Third: Tony Gonsalves (sail 51) Score 75 points
