The First Annual New Zealand Postal Classic
on April 22, 2007
at the Lakeshore Yacht Club, Mississauga

New Zealand, Australia, Canada, USA and Great Britain are for the first time engaged in a "Footy" regatta. A Footy is a one foot long sailboat. The results of the regatta will be sent to New Zealand, tabulated and the winner determined.

On June 27, 2006 the Footy became an officially sanctioned Development Class of the AMYA.

The regatta consists of 5 laps around a 50 foot course with the windward mark fixed and the leeward mark attached by either a sunken or floating line of 50 feet length.
