The Helm, the Captains Quarters and the Anchor Room .


Just in case you need some rope	At the helm	Don Keeley explains the interesting details..	..to his daughter of the way the boat is run

A brass beauty	At the navigator's table	The brain of the ship..	..compared to the heart of the ship: the engine

Two 600 feet long anchor chains...	...and they way they are put in a locked position	This room is just below the helm and ...	accommodates the anchors, emergency generator and much more.

The tunnels along the inside of the outer wall lead from the helm to the engine room and impresses you again with the dimensions of the ship	A 1950's tool room!! Drill press,...	...Metal saw and..	...a shaper! Compare that with the CNC equipped tool room of today. Here also have we come a long way.
